The great dunes of Ong Jemel, the sets left behind by the filming of Star Wars, then the vastness of Chott el-Jérid, the great salt lake. In the evening, the sun sets over the dunes.
Tozeur's medina and its ochre brick façades, to explore with a guide. In the palm grove, the shaded paths are best discovered on horseback or by bike.
Mountain oases nestle at the foot of the cliffs, and the canyons of Midès and Sidi Bouhlel offer spectacular landscapes.

The palm grove museum tells the story of the date palm and of life in the oasis. On site you'll also find a restaurant and a shop selling date-based products.
